I am Military male and needed to lose a couple inches to maintain tape standards. I workout everyday but unable to lose the fat on my flanks. I googled a lipo center and this was the first one to pop up and showed there was a discount availiable. I called for an appointment, which was next day.
The initial appointment was easy. They had me lose my shirt in the office to look at my fat I wanted to get rid of, which they said I was a good candidate for LaserLipo. I did paperwork and booked my appointments.
Two months later, Today, I had my surgery. Military mission dictated the reason for the long wait for surgery. The surgery was uncomfortable pain wise, but nothing extreme.
They gave me the outer garment and girdle and now I am recovering.
So far, I have no complaints on the process of the office administrators or the Doctor whom performed the surgery, nurse was nice and easy on the eyes.

I was nervous to undergo Smart Lipo, it was something I had thought about but didn’t follow through on. Until now, Dr. Segev provided the initial assessment and cautioned on what to expect after the initial procedures. There is some pain involved but nothing that prevented me from doing my daily routine.
One week after the procedure I was out running 1-3 miles 3 days a week and getting ready to do my first 5K of 2015.
The results are better than I expected and every day I see change as the swelling has decreased. So far I have dropped 1 full clothing size. I now wear a 10 and can also fit in some size 8 clothing.
I had a series of six procedures over a three month period. After the first procedure friends and family were wowed by how slender I looked. My hips and abdomen were flatter and I felt better about my appearance.
Then I decided on a second set of procedures thinned my calfs and bra line. After three weeks once the swelling decreased along with minimal bruising those areas were taking shape. My last procedures included the flanks and thighs. Through it all I kept an optimistic attitude and was loving the differences I was observing.
The changes have been gradual and constant with my body contours continuing to change. It’s been four months since those first procedures and I don’t regret deciding to do this for myself.
I believe that entering Dr Segev’s office for that first consultation with an open mind played an important part in my recovery. Listening to Dr. Segev’s suggestions and follow -up care instructions made my recovery go smoothly. I followed the post-op instructions wore the garment and binder as prescribed.
The staff has been great! They were friendly and reassuring during pre-op and post-op. They reviewed post op instructions, and answered any questions I had.
Would I do it again? Yes I would!
I recommend Dr. Segev: he is an amazing surgeon and has a calming manner that put me at ease during the procedures.

Liposuction and laser liposuction is most commonly done on the abdominal/belly area.
There are three areas that are part of the abdomen:

I had my laser lipo procedure done here over 6 months ago. 2 of my other friends also came her and referred me. I have to say the office is clean and very nicely set for a medical office. The staff was tremendous help. Very professional. The Dr. was very resourceful and experienced. He knew what he was talking and knew the what type of side affects or down time I will receive. I was a size 12 and 6 months later with proper eating and working out I was able to wear a size 6. It’s a life changing procedure worth every dollar I spent.
I have to say I had to think about this procedure and made sure it was right for me before doing the procedure. When I did my consultation, they made sure that my expectations were not to high. The expectation they gave me is maybe a size 10 and 3lb of fat loss.
I recommend this procedure for anyone who have trouble spots, and who are looking to have start up in new healthier life style such as working out and eating healthy.

Dr. Segev is fantastic and im thrilled with my laser lipo results. I have my waist line back after 30 years! I wish I did this years ago. I m so excited to go shopping now that I ve lost almost two dress sizes. Thank you American Lipo Centers! This has been life changing to say the least.

I wish I could give a higher rating and I mean that! The staff UHmazing from start to finish. They answered all of my questions and made me super comfortable. I spoke with Kara in sales a day before my actual appointment because I was in a rush to have it done before an upcoming trip. Not only did they squeeze me in, but I was able to have the procedure done in the same week! I was freaking out (as anyone would) about almost everything and were cool about it. The day of the procedure, everything was explained in detail. During the procedure Dr. Jones and I talked about Beyonce, my move to LA and more. The nurse asked over and over again if I was OK. how I was feeling, if I were having any pain and even rubbed my hand and arm frequently. Dr. Jones also frequently asked my comfort level, added more numbing when needed, stood me up to check how I looked and juts overall awesome. EVERYONE was always professional and who cannot appreciate that at a time like that! Thank you guys.

I recently had my lower abs and flanks done by Dr. Segev at American Lipo Centers in Alexandria. Although I was nervous initially, the staff was helpful, patient, supportive, and made the experience worthwhile. I just had my procedure done during Thanksgiving break. I did my my stomach area and my hips. I am seeing really good results. I ran into a few relatives and friends during this Christmas and New Years break and they kept asking me what I did to myself. The nurse and other staffers were all very professional and compassionate. They were very detailed in explaining the benefits and very short down time needed after the surgery. I am still wearing my compression spanks. I know I don’t need to wear it any longer, but talking to others it is best to wear it as long as I can to continue to shape my body.

I actually did it! I have been debating for a long time whether I should do it because the videos on youtube made me nervous especially being awake for it. I did my research online and looked at their reviews and photos at their website found myself being comfortable with them after talking to them. The staff is friendly and informative.The lady I was talking to about scheduling a procedure explained the entire process. I also met with the doctor and was really friendly and explained what he thought he can achieve with my skin tone. After thinking about it, I signed up for lipo the next week.
The night before the procedure, I was really anxious. The most pain I ever felt in my life was when I had my wisdom teeth removed and that was not fun. My procedure was at 7am so I got there are 6am like they asked me to. The nurse had me sign additional papers as she set up the room. When she finally said she was ready for me to follow her into the room, I was so nervous! She brought me into a room that was small, but very clean. The nurse had me change into a paper gown and paper panties. She took my vitals, weight, and photos. I think she gave me the medicine 15 minutes before they started.
The doctor had me stand up and he marked the areas I wanted done and asked me if he marked the right areas. The doctor said he needed to give me a couple shots like the ones at the dentist office for the incisions. The pain from the shot was quick, but it felt like it pinched a lot.

And then he inserted an instrument to numb me more. Then they used this vibrating machine to suction out the fat. It felt like a deep massage and it also pinched in some areas once in a while. I felt a sharp pain that made me jerk so they numbed that area more. I don’t think I could’ve done it without the nurse. She rubbed my arm, held my hand, and reminded me to breathe! The doctor was great and talked with me to help me feel calm. The doctor had me stand up a couple times so he can see where he was at and if he needed to take more out. After the procedure, the nurse covered me up with pads helped me into a very tight garment that really compressed my skin! She also explained how to wear the garment and when to take my next set of medicine.
I had to change out my pads every two hours because I had a lot of pinkish-red drainage that night. When the numbing medicine wore off, that was when I started to feel sore and uncomfortable. My pain meds helped out a lot. The next day, I was swollen and there were some bruising. On day two, I had so much bruising. The doctor said that would be normal and not to worry about it and will go away. I still am tender and there are some pain in some areas, but I can say I was most comfortable to do normal activities on day three. It’s been a couple of weeks and I can already see results!

I would recommend these doctors and nurses to my family and friends without a second thought. The only thing in the procedure that I would have changed would be Kara Egber the appointment lady would have had to hold my hand like she promised, (kidding) they are a wonderful group of people who make you feel relaxed and check up on your wellbeing constantly.

My personal tip if you’re going to get the procedure done: BE POSITIVE! Don’t go in thinking it will hurt, or you won’t like the pain. Because I ended up laughing and getting tickled throughout the whole procedure 🙂 and good luck!!

lol! Mrs Debbie cleaned me up & explained everything that was going to take place prior to it happening. I must say the lidocaine was a piece of cake but the numbing part for me was very uncomfortable. I had to have a another 1/2 of my Valium cause I was freaking out but after that it was a smoothe selling. The back & braline was very easy. I didn t even know he had numbed me already. I am 1 day postop. Sore but otherwise I feel good. Minimal bruising only on both sides of my flank areas. VERY happy with the results this far (GOD BE THE GLORY). I would recommend ALC to all. Actually my friend has a consult Tues. I will post before & after pics soon.
